For 2020 Nursery and Reception Admissions we have identified the following dates for you to visit the school:
Wednesday 20th November: Introduction to St. Luke’s School and Early Years Session – 4:00pm and then repeated at 6pm.
Thursday 28th November: Introduction to St. Luke’s School and Early Years Session – a repeat of the session last week, at 8:00am
This introductory session will provide the opportunity to meet the headteacher and staff, look at the environment and hear what provision is like. The sessions last for approximately 45 minutes. There is no need to book in advance – please just turn up on the day.
Additionally, the headteacher has identified the following times to provide a tour of the school. Each tour lasts approximately an hour. For these, we request that you do book in advance, by contacting the school office and letting us know which date and time you would prefer.

Monday 4th November at 10am
Wednesday 6th November at 9am
Wednesday 13th November at 4pm

The Local Authority leads the coordination of Nursery Admissions for all schools in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets including own admission schools like us.
To apply for a Nursery place at our school, you first need to complete the On Line form with the borough. You can access the form and guidance here: https://www.towerhamlets.gov.uk/lgnl/education_and_learning/schools/school_admissions/nursery_school_admissions.aspx
You must have submitted your application by 16th February 2020 for a place in September 2020.
In addition to the borough’s own on line process, to apply to our school you are also required to complete our school Application Form and to submit that to the school office by the same date.
With your application to our school, you may need to provide:
A reference from your Parish Priest/Minister and/or Church Officer.
Professional evidence of a disability and/or exceptional medical, pastoral, special educational or social need.
Provision of this additional information will ensure that the school has the necessary information to apply the Oversubscription Criteria listed in our policy (see below).
Application forms will be distributed by the school and must be returned to the School Office by the stipulated date.

As a Church of England Primary School, our governors designate up to 40 places to be offered to children whose parent is a practising member of a Christian Church and who lives or worships within the Anglican Deanery of Tower Hamlets. The remaining 20 places are designated as Open Places.
