This section is designed to give parents key information about the school so that they can make informed decisions. It also gives information about school routines and requirements.
There is a considerable amount of data published by the government so that a school’s effectiveness can be judged. Ofsted (The Office for Standards in Education) last inspected the school in June 2012. Other useful information on exam results can be found on the School Data Dashboard, also published by Ofsted and showing children’s performance in key areas. The SEN (Special Educational Needs) Local Offer details how we provide for children with special needs, and the Pupil Premium outlines how much extra funding we receive for disadvantaged pupils, and what we are doing to close the gap between them and other pupils.
Parent View is a government web page on which parents can give their opinion of the school.
Click here for the link to the DfE Primary school performance tables 2018 where you can compare St Luke's to other schools.
All of the above can be found in the menu to the left, together with information on uniform, the school day, homework and how we teach children to read using phonics.
