Sports at St Luke’s
Events
Children at St Luke's have been fortunate enough to participate in numerous sports events, including: Inclusion Games, Girls Active Event, Dance Workshops, Gymnastics competitions, Isle of Dogs Inter-school Football competition and Sports Day, Curling and Cricket Tournaments.
We have a committed team of staff who also take our students out across all of the above tournaments, and we are always look for new competitions to take part in, as we believe it is vital for our children to be active and to learn the life lessons that Sport and P.E. can give them.
Facilities
St Luke's School benefits from having a wide range of facilities and space on-site. We have a swimming pool used by children from Nursey to Year 3, not only for our school but other schools nearby. We are also very lucky to have a football pitch at the back of the school and another pitch in the front playground.
PE lessons
At St Luke's School, we have a PE specialist who teachers the PE curriculum across the year groups.
