New RE Ambassadors Lead the Way

This week, our newly appointed RE Ambassadors held their first meeting. Together, they explored our RE books, reflected on the role of prayer in our school, and discussed how we might further embed our school values into daily life.

The ambassadors decided to adopt a new version of our school Grace, which connects directly to our school Bible story The Road to Emmaus. From now on, this Grace will be said every day before lunch:

Thank you God for our food For work and school and all things good For wind and rain and sun above For filling our hearts with truth and love

In addition, a prayer from our school prayer book will be shared daily:

• Monday – Afternoon

• Tuesday to Friday – Morning
  

Looking ahead to Harvest, the RE Ambassadors have also suggested making posters for classrooms to encourage everyone to think about how we can support the Isle of Dogs Foodbank.

We are very proud of our ambassadors for their thoughtful contributions and for helping to shape the spiritual life of our school.
